  1. Exchange links with other bloggers in your niche. Make sure to form link pyramids.  Keep it natural.

  3. Join and “work” at least five high quality social networks to get your blog posted.  It is best to carve out two hours per week to “work the sites”.

  12. One time per week, link to at least five top bloggers and see if they will return the favor.
  13. Ask friends to share links with you (make sure the blogs are busy and reputable).
  14. Submit your site to http://www.dmoz.org. Many other directories use this directory and that alone is enough quality backlinks for you.
  15. Rewrite blog posts, and submit them as articles to http://EzineArticles.com.
  16. Submit your blog to Technorati (http://technorati.com) and build more links to increase your ranks, this alone can help you get many high quality backlinks.
  17. Write a post with 5-7 pictures.  Let the pictures tell the story.  People will quickly link to your post.
  18. Create tutorials.  These get a large number of backlinks.
  19. List your blog on the top social bookmarking sites:  http://www.ebizmba.com/articles/social-bookmarking-websites.
  20. Put your blog on everything…your email signature, business card, pdf files and any flyers or documents you distribute to the public.
